Privacy Policy

How dwalton29 collects, uses, stores and shares personal information submitted through contact forms, build requests, emails and website analytics.

These pages are practical website policies for dwalton29. They are not a substitute for legal advice on a specific project, regulated sector, contract dispute or consumer-law issue.

Who controls your information

DWALTON29 LTD is the controller for personal information collected through dwalton29.co.uk, build requests, contact forms, email enquiries, project discussions and related business communications.

Contact: dylan.walton@dwalton29.co.uk.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, company or project name, business description, audience, current stage, launch timing, domain/website details, selected package, selected add-ons, estimated budget, project notes and any information you choose to include in a message or build request.

If a project goes ahead, we may also collect billing information, company details, project files, brand assets, content, access records, account invitation details, support history and communications about the work.

Please do not send unnecessary sensitive personal data, financial details, passwords, government identity documents or private customer data through the quote form or general email.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, review build requests, prepare proposals, provide quotes, deliver services, manage projects, issue invoices, provide support, keep business records, protect the website, improve the service and comply with legal obligations.

Where appropriate, our lawful bases may include taking steps before entering into a contract, performing a contract, legitimate interests in running and improving the business, legal obligations, and consent where we specifically ask for it.

Analytics and website usage

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregated website traffic and page usage. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to operate without third-party cookies and provides aggregate statistics rather than cross-site user tracking.

We may review information such as page views, referrers, device/browser context, approximate location signals and performance information to improve the website and understand which pages help people.

Who we share information with

We may share limited information with service providers needed to run the business and deliver projects, such as website hosting, email, analytics, payment, invoicing, domain, database, repository, storage, project-management and support tools.

If a project requires third-party platforms such as Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, GitHub, Google, domain registrars, social platforms or email providers, your information may be processed by those services under their own terms and privacy documents.

We may also share information where required by law, regulation, court order, tax/accounting rules, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, debt recovery or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and build request information for as long as needed to respond, manage follow-up, understand demand and keep reasonable business records.

For accepted projects, we may keep project records, invoices, contracts, payment records, support history and related communications for longer where needed for accounting, legal, warranty, tax, dispute, security, portfolio or legitimate business reasons.

We will not keep personal information for longer than we reasonably need it.

Your rights

Depending on the situation, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to receive a copy of certain information in a portable format.

To make a privacy request, contact dylan.walton@dwalton29.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your personal information is handled.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, including using reputable providers, access controls, collaborator invitations where possible, and avoiding password sharing where possible.

No website, email system or internet service can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send passwords or sensitive details by normal email unless a secure method has been agreed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, services, providers, analytics, forms and project flow develop. The latest version will be shown on this page.
